Welcome !!

                                       to the Somerset Branch of The National Autistic Society.

We aim to :

  • promote awareness and understanding of Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) throughout the community;
  • help and support all those with an ASC and their families;
  • work with the local authority, service providers and the voluntary sector to improve serices for all people affected by these conditions.

Membership is free; you don't have to be a member of the National Autistic Society to join your local branch, and you do not need a formal diagnosis.

We meet four times a year, and are adding more events all the time which raise funds, or help to inform and support people with an Autistic Condition and their families.

We are also happy to help and support all those who are affected by related conditions, particularly

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) 
  • Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)
  • Dyspraxia
  • Bipolar disorder
